это вы знаете. Хотя в английском первое значение не это, а пол.Sexy — прямой смысл - привлекательный сексуально, сексапильный ( sex appeal).
Но слово давно вошло в лексикон и просто в значении "привлекательный", без прямой связи с сексом. Мы ведь не назовем хорошую мысль сексуальной, а по-английски вполне можно сказать sexy idea. Это будет звучать как бы слегка с перцем, но, в принципе, приемлемо и понятно - классная, дескать, мысль.Sexploitation — коммерческая эксплуатация секса.
Это относится не к борделям, а к массовой культуре (ТВ, фильмы, книги, пресса, реклама), использование в которой всего, связанного с сексом, оказалось очень выгодным. Вот для сравнения сходный по структуре термин - "blaxploitation". Лет тридцать назад так стали называть фильмы, удачно и прибыльно использовавшие до того не паханное поле лакированной негритянской жизни. Кубанские казаки, но все черные.Sexpot — привлекательная женщина, ну прямо провоцирующе соблазнительная. Дословно - сексуальный сосуд.
Sex wagon = pimpmobile — сутенерская расфуфыренная машина, мы ее уже обсуждали (см. pimpmobile). Сейчас на таких ездят рэпперы, в силу бешеных доходов способные реализовать свою детскую мечту о красивой жизни. Маленькими же они в качестве романтического примера красивой жизни наблюдали только сутенерско-проститутскую мишуру.
S.E.X. — почему-то считается, что если это слово произнести по буквам, получится эвфемизм, воспринимающийся более мягко. Народное поверье наивных американцев.
